Astragalus

Astragalus, a medicinal herb from Chinese medicine, promotes a fortified immune system by enhancing what’s called the wei qi (“defensive qi”) which is located between the dermal and epidermal layer of the skin, creating, in essence, a type of shield that prevents pathogens from being able to even enter the body. Astragalus is also a tonic for the blood, the spleen, your lungs, and your stomach, while also helping to release excess water from the system in addition to being a mild pain reliever.
